FLASHBACK: A Rare Interview with Eddie Vedder

Ahead of MMR's Saturday Night Concert Series kickoff with Pearl Jam, we flash back to a chat with Eddie Vedder backstage at the Wells Fargo Center on October 22nd, 2013. Eddie doesn't do interviews very often - hardly ever! - so Pierre Robert, Nick McIlwain and Matt Cord were honored to spend a few minutes with him. They talked about Pearl Jam's relationship with Philadelphia and their run of 2009 shows that closed out the Spectrum (which we'll feature on air this Saturday night at 7pm!). Eddie reflects on the band's impact, the connection with their fans, and his unlikely way to unwind: axe throwing.
