Brene Brown says Serpentining is what we do to avoid POTENTIAL shame and hurt. We all do this either through procrastination, falsely positive emotions, or distractions from stress of life. We all know life is stressful and full of problems, but after we’ve avoided our problems for a little while, it’s amazing to see that the problems are still there after we finish our evasive actions.
