A faceless mannequin detective is called in to investigate a murder inside a Foundation facility, only to discover a second crime scene protected by invisible traps capable of instantly killing anyone who crosses the threshold. But when the supposedly dead victim begins speaking from inside the room, the detective realizes the killer may be something far more dangerous than anyone expected.
