There is a certain conform in the monotony of the daily grind. It can be a sanctuary from the emotional complexities of life. We get in trouble if we build our identity around these routine and plain tasks though. God desires for us to do his work, and even it if it washing dishes like Brother Lawrence, God provides the all-important “WHY?” that moves us from cementer into an epic life every day.
