While most of these companies have the recipes to make their products healthier for Americans, they make the decision to continue feeding us poor-quality foods. Thus, the importance of being educated and looking out for ourselves when grocery shopping. Vani also explains how you can make the transition from eating processed and artificially-flavoured foods to eating healthy and whole foods smoother. She shares a few of her favourite snack and breakfast options and how you can get started in the kitchen. Vani Hari is an activist that lives in North Carolina and the author of the new book, The Food Babe Way, which guides 21 essential habits she taught herself to take control of her health.
