Fran Caffey Sandin is an author of two books sharing her own incredible story and those of many others who have gone through a severe trauma but found the strength to get through.
She has also written articles for magazines including Focus on the Family, Decision, Home Life, Virtue. In addition to her two books, she co-authored the best-seller, Courage for the Chicken-Hearted and its sequel Eggstra Courage for the Chicken-Hearted.
Fran knows the heartbreak of losing your child. Not only did she say goodbye to her little Jeffrey, but to an older son, Steve, as well. Steve had a Master of Physical Therapy degree yet died at the age of 43 after struggling with cystic fibrosis for 14 years and kidney failure for 7 years.
Because of Fran's own father’s suicide death at age 71 and the deaths of my two sons, she can speak on grief recovery—perhaps using a different slant than the usual “steps.”
Her interview will touch your heart and if you know anyone who has lost a child, this is a must-hear interview and must-read book:
