Robbie Martin is joined by Abby Martin on the 19th anniversary of September 11th, 2001, and while this recording was made remotely, both live in California and have been experiencing what can only be described as a hell on earth Mordor-like scenario with constant wild-fires, smoke and ash falling from the skies. Robbie & Abby catchup on where the left is currently at in terms of seeing through the lies of the Bush administration's narrative of the 9/11 attacks and why it's still extremely important to question not just the framework of the 'War on Terror' but the attacks themselves.
They then examine the con-artistry of Donald Trump using meaningless anti military industrial complex rhetoric to capture headlines again and to put out bait for the Democratic establishment to attack him from the right. Trump's actual bombing and foreign policy record is broken down by Justin Amash who seems to be one of the only credible figures not falling for Trump's pretend anti-war rhetoric.
The discussion then veers to QAnon (of course) where Robbie explains why he thinks the Jim Watkins=Q narrative is a soothing narrative but ultimately one that distracts away from how dangerous it is.
