Angela Watson’s Truth for Teachers
Education:Courses
Today’s episode is in response to several questions from a listener on behalf of her colleagues that centers on worrying about parents, conferences, and teaching without feeling like you're being judged or monitored by parents. This listener shared specific examples of "intense parents" which are very relatable, and although her administration is supportive, she looks for specific ways to tackle the anxiety created by the parents' actions.
Join me today as I tackle these listener's questions with a focus on understanding parent mindset and motivation. Understand parent perspective is a key step in addressing your mindset so that you can appropriately set boundaries and keep the joy that you have for teaching.
