Women’s Health Expert: It Took Me 30+ Years To Realise This

Dr Nighat has never had an easy path.

Born in Pakistan, she immigrated to the UK at 9 years old. Since then, she’s been pushing against barriers: in her community, in medicine, and in society at large.

However, she turned that resistance into purpose. As a GP, broadcaster, and author, she’s dedicated her career to breaking the silence and challenging the taboos around women’s health, from periods to menopause, making sure no woman feels ashamed of her body.
