Or if you are listening to this sometime in the future, you might find yourself in a place where you can't get the assistance you need for another reason. This episode is a desperate attempt to get information to the moms who need it right now in areas of Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, and parts of South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida who might be in a position that they are facing labor alone, unplanned. There are women who are going to have an unassisted birth at home even though they planned a hospital birth with all the interventions....and that's a scary place to be. I want to help those women.
I know many of these places don't have electricity right now or internet/cell service, but some are being restored even though their roads are still washed out. So my plea to anyone listening to this today is that you share this as far and wide as you can so that hopefully this will reach the mamas who need it right now. I'm releasing it early rather than waiting until my usual release date of Tuesday morning to try to get a jump start on it. There will also be a YouTube video with the same information in case that is easier to share. This is my attempt to help anyone I can as I sit helpless in middle Tennessee, unable to go be with these women who are essentially cut off from society. My prayer is this helps at least one mom. I ask you to help me do that.
