In this episode, Stevie and Chris caught up with Jack Middlemore, who plays rugby for Dodger 7s, and recently took part in a documentary series called Blindside in which he shared about his struggles with mental health. Jack talks to us about the drinking culture and pressures of University and how difficult that can be on young people. He also shares with us his attempted suicide and what helped him to recover.
The Blindside documentary series, filmed by Alex Bowdery at Playmotion, is designed to #TackleTheStigma around mental health and highlight the importance of talking about mental health in sport, schools and life in general. It can be found on Playmotion's Vimeo or on the Dodger 7s and LooseHeadz social media channels.
