Born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania, Michelle witnessed firsthand the obstacles that her husband, Chris, a former Army serviceman, encountered upon returning to civilian life.

Inspired by their personal struggles and the realization of the scarcity of accessible resources for veterans in rural areas, Michelle and Chris founded Operation Honor: Rural Salute™.
