Reflection summarized By Paul Ford: Lord set us free. The Lord gave himself to us. We have been pardoned by the Lord for an unpayable debt.
The Lord redeems us of all our sin. He crowns us with love, devotion and compassion. Be merciful just as our father is merciful. Be imitators of God as beloved children and walk in love.
We must free our hearts from the shackles of resentment, anger, bitterness, hate and an unforgiven spirit.
Remember the commandments and do not bear your neighbour Ill will. How do we overlook the offence of others?
Forgiveness is inspired by the logic of love. That love means we must forgive. We must overlook all offences. We must plead for forgiveness.
We need Gods Grace. It preceeds our willingness to forgive. For those that seek perfection of live - real forgiveness is required. I can do all things through Christ.
Forgive someone today. Forgive those that offended you. Forgive those that did not take care of you.
Please grant us the Grace to become better Christians and children of God.
