Dr. Pelto received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, followed by a three-year reconstructive foot and ankle residency program at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is board-certified in Foot Surgery and active in the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society.

Dr. Pelto is passionate about sharing his podiatric knowledge to patients and the community and is often invited to speak at events. Dr. Pelto has written four books and several articles in relation to his profession.
