The European Parliament this week (Thursday 6th) demanded better protection of the oceans and marine biodiversity. The vast majority of MEPs voted for a resolution that calls on the EU to lead global ocean governance and biodiversity efforts.
The calls come ahead of the upcoming climate and biodiversity conferences COP27 and COP15. The resolution was tabled by Ireland South MEP Grace O’Sullivan. She spoke to EuroParlRadio’s Karen Coleman about her resolution.
