43. Dr. Lisa Nagy Reverses Effects of Environmental Toxins in the Body to Heal Chronic Illnesses & Brain Imbalances Host Enoe Aracely Brown August 22, 2024

Dr. Lisa L. Nagy is an environmental medicine specialist. In 2000 Dr Nagy was disabled for 10 years by Environmental Illness, which included chemical sensitivity, dysautonomia, Addison’s Disease, mitochondrial myopathy (if not early ALS) from mold and pesticide exposure. She is now an educator in Environmental Medicine, lecturing nationwide at congressional meetings to medical students, and doctors. She points out that Mycotoxins from mold in the home to the bacteria in water from plastic bottles, skin care creams with over a 100 chemicals absorbed by the skin into our body are what contribute to an increase in “toxic load” inside the human body. These create chronic illnesses, mental imbalances and physical weaknesses. She also addresses how the government can help make these healing practices less expensive. and stop the trend toward chronic diseases and mental illness that is growing non-stop..

Dr. Lisa L. Nagy is an occupational and environmental medicine specialist in Marth’s Vineyard, MA and is affiliated with Martha's Vineyard Hospital. She graduated from Pennsylvania University and received her medical degree from Cornell Medical college and has been in practice for more than 20 years. In 2000 Dr Nagy was disabled by Environmental Illness She has suffered from chemical sensitivity, electricity sensitivity, dysautonomia, Addison’s Disease, mitochondrial myopathy (if not early ALS) from mold and pesticide exposure and recovered by 2010. She became Board Certified in Environmental Medicine and went on as an educator in the field of Environmental Medicine and now lectures nationwide. She has spoken at congressional meetings and government agencies, and educates the public, medical students, doctors, the Veterans Administration, and NIH about environmental health. She founded her office on Martha’s Vineyard, Ma, called Environmental Health Center of Martha’s Vineyard. She has done over 30 public presentations and written several articles such as Mold & Marital Discord. Dr. Nagy was also featured in the Netflix show “Afflicted” that delves into exploring chronic health issues.
