It's a proven fact, when a Neil Diamond song starts playing everybody — and I mean everybody — sings along. The world's love affair with the music of the legendary singer has led to wild and crazy career for this resident of Lee's Summit. At an early age, Theron Denson was told his singing voice sounded a lot like Diamond, and for the past 22 years he's toured the country entertaining the masses with his tributes as The Black Neil Diamond. Theron dropped by the vault this week to talk about his show's origins, share some stories and preview Saturday's special performance at The Pink Elephant in downtown Lee's Summit.
