U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an order saying that Canadian and Mexican goods covered by North America's free-trade agreement will be temporarily exempted from American tariffs. Ontario Premier Doug Ford plans to keep retaliatory measures in place until all U.S. tariffs are lifted. The risk of flooding along the Thames River in Chatham-Kent has been downgraded for now.
