"I think socialism is the most important issue facing our country right now and I just want to be a part of the fight," said Morgan Zegers, founder of Young Americans Against Socialism. "Knowing about the failures of socialism, I just assumed that nobody would every support that, in an amazing country like the United States of America."
Polling data over the past decade indicates that a declining view of capitalism, among respondents ages 18 to 39 in 2019, puts it roughly equivalent to socialism, according to Gallup.
