Shariah’s War on Women

Millions of women are brutalized by shariah-adherent Muslims. Every once in a while an individual and her story stands out. One is Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who was mutilated and forced into marriage in Somalia, then fled, becoming a Dutch parliamentarian and bestselling author.

Another is Malala Yousafzai, a courageous Pakistani girl nearly killed for espousing education for women.
Now, Meriam Ibrahim suffers at the hands of Sudan’s government, one of the world’s most horrible shariah-compliant regimes. She was sentenced to death for refusing to renounce her Christian faith. An appeals court overturned the sentence after an outpouring of international criticism.

But Meriam was rearrested as she prepared to leave Sudan for safety in the United States. Her torture must end, as it should for every woman oppressed by shariah.
