If you believe social justice theory, White people are inherently racist because they are White and hold the levers of power. Blacks’ perspectives should be embraced because they are not the dominant perspective (and therefore they must be heard).
So what do we do with the perspective of the minority voice in the minority perspective? Don’t they, by the same logic, have a claim that their narrative should be embraced?
In this episode, I interview a unicorn—a conservative Black man and I get his perspective race and culture in 2020. The episode is unedited. You will hear all that he has to say. You might be surprised by what you hear.
