US tariffs on EU goods could be a “massive” one hundred billion euros (€100bn) if they were to be fully implemented. That’s the warning from EU Trade Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič who was speaking in the European Parliament in Strasbourg this morning.
He told MEPs, the US has recently launched investigations on a range of additional products. Including pharmaceutical products and semi-conductors. He said, US duties on EU exports “would be massive” if the United States imposes tariffs on those additional products.
