Today, I sat down pondered the 5 biggest takeaways from my own health and fitness journey.
I've learned SOO much, and I'm only just getting started.
The cool thing is you can all learn from the mistakes I've made, so I wanted to share the 5 biggest lessons I've learned my own my own experience!
1. Mindset - What story are you telling yourself about yourself? It matters. If you believe you're unworthy of losing weight, if you believe you're not good enough to look better, if you always see the fat person in the mirror, then that's always going to hinder you.
2. Habits - Your eating habits will reflect your weight, your activity habits will reflect your fitness level, your income will reflect your working habits. Habits dictate long term fitness results.
3. Clarity - BE VERY CLEAR about the goal you wish to achieve, wanting to lose weight is not enough. How much weight would you like to lose? How do you want to feel? Where do you want to see the changes?
4. Sustainability - Is your training & nutrition working well for you? Can you sustain it long term? Do you ENJOY it?
5. Mobility - Oh man.... this one. 23 Year old me needed this, but he sadly neglected it! Being able to get into good positions while training is important. Flexibility will never be enough. Be sure to work mobility often.
