In this edition of the podcast Vernomatic and Metal Walt interviews drummer STEVE RILEY of RILEY’S L.A. GUNS.
After some time down and a few personnel changes, the band has been reborn as Riley’s LA Guns with the return of original member Kelly Nickels on bass, Steve Riley who has been the most consistent member ever throughout the years and still on drums, Scotty Griffin on guitar and Kurt Frohlich on lead vocals. After signing a multi album deal with international independent powerhouse rock label Golden Robot Records, Riley's L.A. Guns released their debut album Renegades to critical acclaim.
The three go into detail on the band’s songwriting process surrounding the first two single's 'Overdrive" and ‘Rewind‘ from their highly anticipated forthcoming new album THE DARK HORSE.
Vern and Walt give their review's , what they liked and what caught their eye.
The guys then talk a brief walk down Heavy Metal Memory lane with details surrounding Steve's ime with W.A.S.P., Recalls playing with 80"s power houses AC/DC and DEF LEPPARD plus and tour plans for 2023.
