Kristy Rothe, agricultural education teacher at Big Sky High School in Missoula, Mont., was named an Outstanding Young Member of NAAE in 2014. Kristy explains how students in her wildlife and forestry class took advantage of Montana’s unique environment and used dermestid beetles to clean a variety of game species. She also talks about the Missoula Agriculture Center’s 100-acre school farm and ranch where FFA members help care for hogs, sheep, goats, cattle and other animals.
This interview first aired on the April 25, 2015 “FFA Today” show on Rural Radio SiriusXM Channel 80.
