Four Marines died yesterday, not on some foreign battlefield but in Chattanooga, Tennessee, not in a foxhole but at their duty stations in America.

But make no mistake. They lost their lives in combat at the hands of the same enemy we are facing elsewhere – a jihadist seeking to kill infidel soldiers. He carried out a martyrdom operation that, according to Islam’s supremacist shariah doctrine, will assure him a glorious afterlife.

It’s bizarre that investigators insist they don’t know what motivated Mohammed Abdulazeez to carry out his murderous attacks. It’s appalling President Obama refuses to acknowledge authoritative Islam’s catalytic role in such warfare. And it’s intolerable that our military personnel being targeted here are not allowed to carry the arms they use to defend themselves in other combat theaters.
