BONUS episode: Getting Personal-an Adoption and birth mom story of redemption through domestic violence

The HARDEST choice I ever made in life was allowing someone else to raise my child. No, abortion wasn’t even in my vocabulary, even with all the pain and abuse. ADOPTION is so rewarding for both sides if you can allow yourself to push through the pain if you’re a birth mom. I know I gave this child the best start in his life that I could and I am forever grateful that his adoptive parents allowed me to be present in his life and theirs when they didn’t have to. On holidays and special occasions, he and I have the longest and deepest conversations via FaceTime and it’s a blessing and honor to see this young man grow and mature! Today he is 14 years old! In honor of his birthday, I have a special podcast episode that was hard to record but I needed to share the story for others to know they are NOT ALONE.
