Peter Frere | Ephesians 6:5-10
Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free. And masters, treat your slaves in the same way.
The language of slaves and masters speaks of the cultural gulf that lies between us and the world of Paul's day. Yet, argues Peter, there is much that we can read across into the modern workplace, in our attitudes and the way we treat others.
The recording, which begins with the reading, is an extract from our live Sunday service which was run via Zoom. The video version which also includes songs can be viewed on YouTube.
