In Antarctica, a mysterious pod is discovered in the ice that doesn't seem to belong to any known period of Earth's history.

This week, Paddy and Tricia follow The Doctor and Sarah Jane as they go to investigate the pod on behalf of the World Ecology Bureau. However, they are not the only ones interested in the pod and they find themselves caught up in the schemes of eccentric millionaire.
