Richard and Adam are joined by Matti Thurlin, a second year student at Osgoode Hall Law School, pursuing a JD with an MA in Philosophy. The gang discusses the phenomenon of being geographically displaced to attend law school. Matti hails from Edmonton, AB. Richard was from Calgary, AB before attending law school. Adam comes from a small Northern Ontario town. Each tells their story and offers advice for adapting to a new place and to the world of law.
The group tackles the issue of loneliness during 1L. It might be more common than you think. Richard also pretends his friends listen to the show.
