Recent accomplishments include 2 new albums for the legendary band, “Journey”, 5.1 Surround Mix for the Feature Film, “Dark Reel” (released March 2009), Live and Studio albums for Singer Keith England (formerly Allman Bros.), a CD project for Troubadour Rondo Beutler, the 5.1 soundtrack mix of the festival trailer (preview) for a 2007 feature film titled “Inner Balance”; location, music and mix work on David Lynch’s feature film “Inland Empire”; Mix of the soundtrack for Michael Franti’s feature documentary film, “I Know I’m Not Alone”, and Audio and Video production of all content for davidlynch.com. Neff also did the 5.1 Remixes and Restorations for DVD release of Lynch’s films, “Eraserhead”, “The Elephant Man”, “Blue Velvet”, “Wild At Heart”, “Twin Peaks—Fire, Walk With Me”, and mixed the theatrical soundtracks and soundtrack CDs for Lynch’s theatrical releases, “The Straight Story” and “Mulholland Drive”. He provided original music for both of those films and recorded and mixed the scores as well.
John has a CD in release with Lynch entitled “Blue Bob”, which they premiered at the legendary Olympia Theatre in Paris, and they together wrote, performed and recorded the theme song of the 2002 Cannes Film Festival, “Cannes Memory”.
