This week’s episode features my new friend Jackson Vincent from Philadelphia. He is an art student with a brand new album out called Normal Tension. I featured a couple of his songs on the episode. One is called “Happiest” and the other is called “Roving Soul.” We had a real well rounded conversation about film, photography, music, and Jackson’s general philosophies on writing. We also talked about his style of music in particular because he uses auto-tune in a unique way. In my mind his sound is akin to Eilliot Smith (from the Good Will Hunting soundtrack) or something along those lines. Jackson self-describes his music with the tag line “Music For Ghosts.” If you like his stuff you can find it on Spotify or at the links below listed in the episode notes. Thanks for listening and supporting local artists.
