Episode: 00080
Release Date: November 8, 2021
Description: Open source intelligence expert and professional problem preventer, Glen Mills, joins us this week in a jam-packed show full of past investigations and guidance on how to navigate in an ever changing and advancing technological world, especially with increasingly sophisticated deepfake technology. Glen shares how he first discovered the law enforcement profession as a sworn officer, and how he continuously promoted and advanced the analytical profession through accurately identifying when and where crime was going to happen next; he helped prove analysts were more than report generators. Glen’s efforts towards promoting and advancing the law enforcement analysis profession goes beyond his agency; he is an active member in multiple associations and uses his experience and training to help better others. Glen is currently a lieutenant with the Burlington (MA) Police Department, Chair of the Regional Association Committee for the International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA), President of the Massachusetts Association of Crime Analysts (MACA), and President of Police Futurists International (PFI).
