Steve Cooper talks with Singer/Songwriter Jason Whitton. Jason was raised in Houston, TX, where he grew up listening to R&B, Rap (that's what they called it back then), and Country. His musical tastes are ALL over the map, including everything from Eminem to Tom Waits. His influences range from Garth Brooks, to George Strait, to James Taylor. He's released three records, Thriftstore Cowboy, Broken Horses, and My Way Home. You can find them on cdbaby.com and iTunes. He is currently in the studio finishing up his fourth release. He plans to make a video for one the tracks, and hopefully some touring for the record. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for this amazing Americana/Alt. Country future Superstar.
