Liberate The Podcast: We aim to educate, motivate, inspire and liberate your consciousness! Episode 32: The Spirituality of Food.
"I think of cooking as a huge act of love whether I'm doing it for my boyfriend, friends, someone I love in my life, or someone that I don't know as well. I bake a lot for a restaurant in Highland Park, and that I consider an act of love even though I may not be seeing the person who's eating it. I still put this energy into the food that requires a lot of my concentration. And I like to think of that going out into the world whether I see the effects or not. I strongly believe that the foods people eat - their diets - are very particular to that person. You hear a lot online or in certain circles about what is the best diet, whether it's Whole 30 or Paleo, or gluten free... nutritionists saying you shouldn't eat X, Y or Z. And sure, that might be true for some people but it doesn't work for everyone. We all need different diets. What works for one person does not work for another."
