Steve Cooper talks with songwriter/producer Desmond Child. Desmond has reigned as one of music's most successful creative forces for four decades. His accolades include Grammy awards, over 70 Top 40 singles and songs that have sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. His career has been highlighted by a stunning array of diversity. His collaborations run the gamut from Aerosmith to ZEDD, Bon Jovi to Ricky Martin, KISS to Kelly Clarkson, Cher to Katy Perry, Garth Brooks to Carrie Underwood, and from Megadeth to Mickey Mouse and Kermit The Frog. Despite having worked for nearly forty years in the music industry as a songwriter, producer and artist, he remains energized and enthusiastic ready to create hits indefinitely. In 2008 he was inducted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame and in 2012 he co-founded the Latin Songwriter Hall of Fame.
