Well, who would have thought a chance decision to visit The Sebel Townhouse Hotel in Sydney Australia in the Summer of 1989 as a 15-year-old would have led to such a chance interaction with Australia’s most famous sextet and a band of brothers.

But this is exactly what happened to Richard Simpkin that lead to lifelong friendships with members of INXS and their entourage, private access to the X album recording sessions, and the rare opportunity to get unique footage of the band in their most natural of environments: the studio.
