As it should, one of the headlines of the negative impacts of social media is directly tied to content. But, I’ll debate this with anyone, an even greater negative impact caused by social media is the ability to swipe. The content is in the moment. The idea and ability to swipe gets put into that huge program called your brain and becomes a habit of a lifetime. How easy it is to move on to easy, how hard it is to focus, how disconnected people have become from reality, is tied to the swipe. Don’t believe me? Well, you don’t have to! But believe me when I tell you, the damage is already done! Lock in!
