No stranger to trouble, Wes Scantlin, vocalist for the Kansas City rock band Puddle Of Mudd opened up about his challenges with drugs, booze and the law and what helps keep him grounded today. In this new interview, Wes also recalls how he was seriously considering getting out of music before his demo tape clandestinely landed in the hands of Fred Durst. Regarding that stroke of luck Wes says 'I got a call when I was in Mobile picking up my ex-girlfriends daughter when I got the call...oh no, you're not going to go to New Orleans, you've got to come to Los Angeles...we're going to sign you!'
