This week’s episode features local legend Jimi Haha of the band Jimmie’s Chicken Shack. He is an all around artist from the Annapolis area. I featured his songs “Do Right” and “The Quiet Ones” on the episode. As well as the band's cover of Fugazi’s “Waiting Room.” Jimi and I had a fun conversation about all the projects he’s been working on. Whether it's the new Chicken Shack album, his painting, or his art magazine called “Upstart Annapolis.” We also talked about some of his stories from the road back in the day. Such as his run-ins with Slash, Willie Nelson, and Janes Addiction among others. So whether you are friends or fans of his hopefully you enjoy the episode. You can find Jimmie’s Chicken Shack dates on their facebook page. Definitely follow to the band or the podcast if you like the episode. Thanks for supporting local art and music. Links below.
