Welcome to the LI Law Podcast. We feature legal issues and developments which affect Long Island residents and business owners.
First, we hope everyone out there is feeling well and staying safe. We have been on hiatus on and off for the past few months.
There are many issues affecting us on Long Island and the nation and world as a whole: the health pandemic, racial disparity, climate change, upcoming election. The list goes on. To that end, we want to be a part of the solution, not the problem. As they say, all politics are local. So, today we will focus on the candidates for election here on Long Island and specifically in Nassau County.
Our guest on this special 53rd episode is Carl Gerrato, Community Activist for Nassau County Legislative District 8, Trustee of the Franklin Square Public Library, Board Member of the Central Nassau Rotary Club, a Nassau County Corrections Officer and former Volunteer Firefighter, and a 9/11 hero! Carl was a guest on our show for the 19th, 20th, and 24th episodes.
Carl and Zehava discuss the upcoming election to be held on November 3, 2020. How will Long Island vote?
