Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books
Arts:Books
I sat down with Amber Tamblyn who is an author, actress, and director. She has been nominated for an Emmy, a Golden Globe, and an Independent Spirit Award for her work in film and TV. She cowrote and directed the critically acclaimed feature film Paint It Black. She's a contributing writer for The New York Times, a poet in residence at Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls, and a founding member of Time's Up. She's the author of three books of poetry including the best seller Dark Sparkler and the novel Any Man. Her latest book is Era of Ignition: Coming of Age in a Time of Rage and Revolution. You really have to listen to our conversation to hear her passion firsthand about harnessing fears, creating power and productivity out of chaos, and not shying away from the hard things.
