We close out Heart Month with an interesting discussion with Fran Johnson, MD from MercyOne Iowa Heart Center.  Learn about heart failure and how advances in technology have allowed patients to live a fairly normal life.  Mechanical devices like a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVADs) can help the heart pump blood. Telehealth technology makes it easier to bring heart experts to individuals who may have difficulty seeing a specialist in person.  We learned a lot during this episode and we hope you do too!
