On Simchat Torah, Pastor Marcellus Powell asks what it means to bind the Torah on our hands (Deut. 6:8)? How does one get the Torah written on their heart and mind (Jer. 31:33)? You study it, yes; but since God is the one who writes it, we need to allow God to write it on our hearts -- otherwise it is merely head knowledge and doesn't truly affect the way we live.
