In this week's podcast, we spoke with Peter Nicholson. Peter is Part of an organization called Baobabooks and they've been doing some amazing work in trying to leverage the capacity of young kids and adolescents to be able to publish creative writing, short stories, picture books and he has created an ecosystem to support schools in this project.
About Peter Nicholson:
Born and raised in California. UC Berkeley undergraduate degree (biochem & immunology) and then MBA at UCLA. Now fellowship at Stanford. Successful healthcare career but now more and more focused on social impact related initiatives that intersect with my interests.
About Baobabooks:
Platform arose out of my frustration with the amount of non-productive time my kids were spending on the internet. Facilitates differential learning and purpose built for classroom based and distance learning and available in six languages (more to come). Building a global community focused on creativity.
