Eamon Ryan describes new cable between Galway and Iceland as ”really significant”

Environment Minister Eamon Ryan has today described a new telecoms cable between Galway and Iceland as "really significant".
The ‘IRIS’ subsea telecoms cable will provide direct high-capacity links to Iceland with onward connectivity to Northern Europe via Denmark.
