The SEISMIC demonstrator building at the Building Research Establishment in Watford has been described as the Henry Ford moment for the construction industry. Not only is it bringing standardisation and collaboration to modern methods of construction, but designs predicated on clever, modern steel solutions make buildings that are not only quicker and easier to construct, but also sustainable, energy-efficient and re-usable.
