Melissa Curran CEO and Founder of the Modern Mind Group talks about Emotioneering Motivation for yourself.
We often ask "how can I motivate myself?"
First of all, when it comes to motivation, it's to understand that we're going to make mistakes and things are going to go wrong. We have to create an environment where it's okay to fail where it's okay to try something, but we have to be great at being able to pick ourselves back up when maybe we fall off the horse, or things didn't go to plan, or we weren't consistent.
Then we stop being consistent because that's what happens, as individuals, as people, as human beings, we're not machines. We're not engineering, we're emotioneering. And that's what we're looking at when it comes to motivation. So remember, it's about picking yourself back up. It's not how many times you fall.
