The Iraqi Christians’ Example

Why is Israel fighting Hamas to the death in Gaza? Look no further than the plight of Christians in the Iraqi city of Mosul.

There, jihadists have driven them from their homes and confiscated their property. The Christians are told to convert to Islam. The alternatives are life as enslaved dhimmis, always at the mercy of ruthless, shariah-adherent Muslim overlords, or death.

The jihadists of Hamas have only murder in mind for the Jews of Israel. They are trying to kill as many Israelis as possible, first with missiles, rockets and mortars, and lately by attacks through covertly constructed terror tunnels.

If Hamas survives to fight another day, we too will inevitably face the same relentless jihad as the Christians of the Middle East and the Jews of Israel.
