Simon Trought is a recording engineer, producer and studio owner who's London studio has moved location numerous times before finally settling on a huge boat on the river Thames. Simon's approach to recording and love of authenticity draw strong parallels to the 60s mentality we love on this podcast. In this conversation we discuss the positives and pitfalls of having a boat studio, why Simon uses tape whenever he can and the beauty of recording musicians altogether in the same room.
